About

As a U.S. Army Scout, I deployed for 15 months with 1-26 Infantry out of Schweinfurt, Germany in 2006-2008. We made the type of history that no one wants to make. We would become the hardest hit unit in the Iraq War. I learned a great deal about effective leadership on that deployment–leadership that doesn’t falter, even on the worst of days. I would go on to deploy two more times, both to Kandahar Province in Afghanistan with 8-1 Cav. I was fortunate to have some key leaders to mentor me along the way. What I want to do is share my story in a way that shows how I gained my leadership knowledge and skills.  Our experiences are what shape our character. And the more difficult the challenge, the greater insight we gain on a variety of subjects. Leading is my passion. I want to take you through the emotions that solidify our habits, and make us better leaders and people.

Please leave me comments and questions. Thank you for your time.
